In summer 2025, I had the singular opportunity to record on TWO original Torres guitars, one from 1862 and the other from 1888. It was an amazing experience that I'll never forget! We recorded videos at the San Miguel Mission in Santa Fe, and at the home of luthier Michael Thames. In addition, we recorded a series of comparison videos in which I compare these original Torres guitars with recently made replicas by Thames. Stay tuned for many more videos!

New Arrangement! On the Nature of Daylight

Hey all! Here is my solo guitar arrangement of Max Richter’s “On the Nature of Daylight.” This music has appeared in several films, including Shutter Island and The Last of Us. It was recorded using the new Michael Thames 1862 Torres replica. I hope you enjoy it!

Linear Singularity! World Premiere

I am proud to present the world premiere performance of Linear Singularity by Andy Mitchell. This was originally performed for the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society in Spring 2021. "Linear Singularity is about the growth of Artificial Intelligence, as represented by music. If you’re unfamiliar, the Singularity is the event–sometime in the future–when AI will become more intelligent than humans. This composition depicts the calculated growth of AI into something fast, complex, and possibly threatening" - Andy Mitchell

I'm very excited to share these wonderful new works by Holly Gwin.  Originally composed for hammered dulcimer, these arrangements for guitar are a collaborative effort between William Chandler and myself.  I am confident these will find their way into the standard repertoire.

Carnegie Hall debut!
